This is a trail of using our new blog for Europe. It might feature some photos if we can figure out how to get them into the blog. If they are in the iPad it should go OK.

We are going to attempt to post a blog on our trip. We are not sure if it will work as planned but perhaps with a few trials we will be able to input some great photos and text of our little holiday.

First Blog About Our Calgary B & B

We'd like to begin sharing a few anecdotes from our bed and breakfast here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We have been in business in Calgary since 1988. That was the year that the Winter Olympics came to Calgary and the organizing committee realized that there would not be sufficient accommodations in the city for everyone who wanted to stay. In fact, it was the parents of athletes who really needed rooms. A call went out to see if residents would host families for a small daily stipend. My wife and I were Olympics volunteers so we wanted to jump right in and experience hosting. It went so well that we decided to continue after the games ended.
